A 3D printed scented necklace that releases a relaxing scent, inspired by the blooming of a flower. Creating a calming ritual for the mind in between the moment. Lilia can bloom like a flower. Lifting the necklace closer to the nose will open the necklace, thus releasing the aromatherapy. it utilizes concrete's porous surface to keep the scent longer and contained. Lilia is a material innovation project in collaboration with Neuni Materio Shanghai.

INSPIRED BY FLOWER BLOOMS
When Lilia is facing downward, it closes its petal due to gravity, thus sealing the scent inside the necklace. When Lilia is facing upward, the petals are going down due to gravity, making the necklace opens up and releasing relaxing scent.

Each scented concrete core gives off different scent depending on the user's preference. The core can easily be replaced.
The original Lilia is made out of transparent 3D printed resin. The hinge is assembled during the 3D printing process, minimizing the manufacturing process. Other material and finish can be done through wax casting.
